Believe it or not, you’re a superhero. We all are.
Depending on your mood that statement might seem a bit silly. Or maybe somewhere deep inside you know it’s true.
So what are your superpowers then? It’s not superhuman strength, x-ray vision, laser eyes or any of that entertaining nonsense you see in the movies and the comic books.
It’s your imagination
You have the ability to create your own reality with the power of your imagination and your thoughts.
When you can imagine something, and when you can clearly see and feel this vision, then reality has no choice but to obey. That’s your superpower.
Albert Einstein once said: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
He also said: “Imagination will get you everywhere.”
He revolutionised the world of physics, not with his brainpower but by using the superpower of his imagination.
Imagination bends reality
Everything in the universe is energy in one form or another. So are your thoughts. They are waves and they interact with your surroundings.
When you use your imagination to picture and sense a vision of how you want your life to be, the energy around you changes. The more real this vision feels to you, the stronger the energy shift.
Reality has no will of its own. It is simply an expression of different energies at play.
When you consciously direct your own energy, this will influence the field that makes up your daily reality. Small changes will occur, which you’ll recognise as opportunities.
By acting upon these opportunities you will set in motion a whole chain of events.
Step by step you will bend reality until you have materialised in the physical world the vision that already existed in your imagination.
The challenge and a solution
The greatest challenge lies in the start of the entire process. You need to clearly see, feel, smell, hear and live that vision in your imagination.
Only then, the energy will be strong and focused enough to have an altering effect on reality.
But for the rest of us, it takes effort.
They can set you free from limiting beliefs that say it can’t be done. They can help you to harvest the awesome power of your imagination.
A last bit of advice
Try it out on something small first. That way the stakes aren’t as high.
When you’ve got nothing to lose, your mind will be less likely to interfere with that nagging little voice that wants to make you believe it’s impossible.
So start out small and work from that. Gradually convince yourself that your superpower is real and that you are indeed a superhero.
